I'm inclined to favor Yahoo. Google shows more respect for Ramadan than our fallen soldiers.
Regular Google Search users are familiar with Google's habit of changing up their logo to reflect holidays and events. Michael hit this one square on the head: Google's plain old logo on Memorial Day shows their thoughts and feelings on the matter. While I think it's a bit unfair to single out the Muslim holiday of Ramadan in this case - Google makes the effort to honor a multitude of religious and non-religious holidays - what they've done today by skipping Memorial Day makes a deliberate statement against our fallen military servicemen and women.
Google... well, I'll just say that you all are absolutely disgusting. I'll spare everyone the full extent of the vulgarities that you all deserve to be called. Enjoy your wealth, enjoy your freedom. Go on and enjoy all of the things bought for you by someone else with blood. You don't deserve it, but it's there for you anyway, even in your ingratitude.

It's not as though Google hasn't had help coming up with an appropriate logo.
No kidding. In a forum I frequent someone suggested replacing one "o" with a wreath like the one placed at the Tomb of the Unknowns. I mean come on! Google made a special logo for ANZAC day; their excuse about not wanting to trivialize Memorial Day is an absolute lie and an even bigger insult.
One only need consider where the bulk of political donations go that come out of Google and its employees to know what this is really all about.
