THIS... IS... FITNEEEESSSSS!!!!

Ever since 300 hit the silver screen, we guys have been asking one question: what's the secret workout?

I've seen several different versions of the "300 workout plan" published. Since there are so many versions of one thing, one has to conclude that all but one of the people who have written on the subject - but possibly absolutely all, too - have no idea what the workout actually is.

Every version I've seen does have a central theme though: max overload. We're talking "go until you barf" kind of working out. The latest one I've seen is over at Planet Fat Loss, a health and fitness blog. In their article entitled, Movie Star Fitness - Gerard Butler (the actor who played King Leonidas in the film), they give this formula for turning yourself into a Spartan warrior:

• 25 pull-ups
• 50 dead lifts with 135 pounds
• 50 push-ups
• 50 jumps on a 24-inch box
• 50 floor wipers
• 50 single-arm clean-and-presses using a 36-lb kettle bell
• 25 more pull-ups

This is to be done without rest between sets (like I said - you'll barf, or maybe just throw up in your mouth a little).

But that's not to say that Planet Fat Loss is a bad site, not at all. So far I've found plenty of articles related to weight loss, fat loss eating right, and exercise that will keep me busy for a while. I've got a few extra pounds I'm carrying around with me these days, so this website may serve as a helpful resource to me as I get rid of them (and now that I don't live in a place that experiences viking Hell winters, it may be even easier for me to do that).

Being fit is great, but maintaining it is so hard, you have to workout all off the set but it will be really helpful especially in our health.
