Blog Income Update

A few nights ago I decided it was time to go through all of the online income systems I use to generate cash with this blog and total them up. I then updated the total in the upper-left corner of the blog, which hasn't been updated in quite a while.

The biggest source of income I get through this blog continues to be paid posts, but that pretty much ground to a halt several months ago after Google got all pissy about the practice. Since then I've added certain features to my blog that have revived its traffic, and following on that I'm now seeing the paid posting opportunities pick up again. I use Pay Per Post and SocialSpark to find those opportunities. I did use some other paid posting services before the whole Google thing happened, but they don't seem to work at all anymore.

Then there's the passive stuff, like Project Wonderful and Adsense. They hardly make anything, but what they do make requires zero effort on my part so I keep them around.

I plan to continue exploring ways to monetize this blog. I have a big incentive for doing so: everything I make online I'm channeling into my Forex account where the real money is made. Every penny I can extract from this blog gets magnified in value many times over inside of that account, and every single cent added to it moves me closer to my ultimate goal of total passive income.
