I was intrigued so I decided to check out the post. It turns out that Scour is a search result aggregator, sort of like Dogpile, but it has a number of features that set it apart. You can sort results in order according to the search engines used, users can vote up or vote down Scour search results (this helps search results to improve), comment on results, etc. Best of all, by using Scour you earn points, and the points can become money.
Basically, everything you can do on Scour earns you points. Once you've reached 6500 points, you can trade them in for a $25 Visa gift card that will be mailed directly to you. Think about it - using search engines is something that you do all the time anyway, but you typically get nothing for it. There are a few search engines out there that pay users to use them, but generally, those search engines just plain suck. Scour, on the other hand, uses well-established search engines so you can know you'll still get good results. They even provide a browser tool bar that you can use to search for stuff through Scour without having to go to the website.
It costs nothing to join, and I even ended up with 50 bonus points for signing up. One last thing I need to mention - you get 25% of the points of people you refer to Scour who end up using it, which is what I'm going for here. If you're just now learning of this opportunity because of my post, please do me a favor and join Scour through my referral link.
Now, let's get some of those gift cards!

Followed your link. Unfortunately the app for the link on the toolbar is for stupid Windows machines only.
Bah... yeah, that's how it usually goes with new things. At least the search page still works for anyone.
