I received the following link in an email from my good friend, Jim:
"WASHINGTON — Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans...Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: “It’s time to be patriotic … time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut.”
Jim writes:
"Wow, the Emperor wears no clothes in the Democrat Party but now he's standing in the spotlight. Obama says that wearing a flag pin does not show patriotism but singling out a sector of the American public to pay more taxes and subsidize the whims of the Party does?
If you are one, like me, who hopes to someday be a "wealthy American," make sure everyone of like mind reads this story. My goal is to live comfortably and provide for my family, not subsidize the likes of Joe Biden, Nobama, Hillary and all their cohorts.
Wealthy Americans subsidize our economy, our infrastructure, create and provide jobs. Siphoning more of their resources away into the bottomless chasm of government bureaucracy does not make that class more patriotic - all it does is makes them angry, angry enough to move their investments overseas and their dollars into accounts our Treasury can not touch.
Remember, to the Democrats, what's yours is everyone else's. And more and more, they're not just talking about your money."
I can't believe what I'm reading. What is coming out of Biden's mouth is what I would expect to find attributed to the likes of Lenin or Stalin in a history book, not from the mouth of someone who presently aspires to the second highest office in the U.S. Biden isn't even trying to hide his and Barack Hussein Obama's Marxism anymore! This is how comfortable they've gotten with being public about it, thanks to the support they have of legions of thieving idiots who think they're going to get a cut of the loot.
The enemy is very far inside the gates.

Great minds think alike--prior to reading your blog entry, I began ranting on my own about his definition of patriotism. Then it occurred to me that demanding the citizens give up their property for the betterment of the state wasn't a new idea. Plus, I found pictures of Joseph Biden and Stalin in mid-smirk, and I created a perfect graphic.
And a perfect name--let the record show that Russ Craber coined the term Joseph Biden-Stalin. Has a nice ring to it.
But surely it is only the responsible thing to pay our bills. I understand the answer of cutting government, but until they start doing that, at this point it would be better to stop accumulating debt - it can look like the country is going bankrupt.
And even old-time conservatives would have understood that you at least have to pay for your wars, rather than get big tax cuts while at the same time waging war on a number of fronts.
We really have to get our house in order some way.
I know we've been over the Laffer curve often enough that I don't need to repeat it.
And it would help get those tax receipts up quite a bit to bring our corporate tax rates down from our place of dubious distinction as the #1 or #2 nation with the highest rates.
And forget wars. Wars are cheap compared to unfunded liabilities, like medicare and social security, to the tune of $70 trillion, for a horde of baby boomers that should have taken care of themselves.
Anyway, this isn't about the particulars. This is about Biden making an unmistakably marxist comment. In so many words, he just told us that "patriotism" means laboring for the collective rather than one's own self.
It seems that we have to re-defeat communism.
