L.A. Police Gear: 5.11 Tactical LED Flashlight

At the continuing education seminar I attended yesterday that I mentioned in my previous post, there was a raffle. I dropped my business card in the bowl that names were drawn from and ended up walking away with a huge Maglite flashlight, a 3 D cell model that you could knock out a charging bull with. I felt pretty good about my prize until I saw the 5.11 Tactical Flashlight offered for sale through L.A. Police Gear.com. It's a rechargeable LED light, so it won't require a steady diet of batteries like mine will, and it sounds as if its construction makes it just as tough as a Maglite. I'm not going to get rid of my new Maglite though - too many charging bulls out there.
