I will not post about Michael Jackson. Wait...
I got home today from another overnighter outside of town for work. I have to do that from time to time because it's just the most convenient thing to do. It's not necessary, but driving 180 miles round-trip to get X amount of work done always makes more sense than returning home in between, ultimately totaling 360 miles of driving to get that same X amount of work done.
I'm always tired the evening that I'm away because I tend to work a bit longer than usual. Last night was no exception, and thanks to that I have a new rule: no Forex when I'm on the road.
It went OK, ultimately - I closed out consecutive winning trade #38 last night. #38 was a very tough piece of work, however, and I'm probably more than a bit lucky that I pulled it off. Long story short, I was tired, not reading my charts all that well, and I made crap entries not just once, but twice. I made a third entry at what appeared to be a turning point, scaled out of the trade by closing one position when it flipped back to being positive (I do that to move my average price more into my favor), then closed when the Euro spiked just in time to get out with a tiny profit.
I'd rather not do that again.
Tonight I'm feeling tired, again, so I should probably apply this advice to now. I just want to have a beer and listen to some trance. I'm up 3.32% for the week anyway, well past my weekly target, so there's no need to force it.
