Have A Seat?

I've got a big dining room table in my kitchen and no chairs to go with it. Like many of the items in my kitchen, this piece came to me through what I like to call the "ex-roommate lottery" - that's what happens when your roommates move away and don't want useful stuff anymore, you "win" it.

It's a nice table, all wood, stained and polished. I never eat at it though because it didn't come with chairs. I took a look around the 'net at Dining Chairs and... well, I think I'll keep eating at my living room table in front of my plasma screen TV for now.

Why? Well, consider this:


Would you pay $113 U.S. Dollars for that?! (And the site demands that you buy a minimum of four of them - haha! No.) This is the cheapest dining room chair available on the site I checked out. I would expect this to be the seating in some conference room, not my dining room, and definitely not for that price. No way, no how, no deal. I'd rather stand while eating dinner.
