I'm heading out next weekend to visit relatives for the 4th of July. I'm starting out from my home in Walla Walla, Washington, which tends to be a bit warm during the day at this time of the year, and heading for Idaho Falls, Idaho, which requires crossing through some territory that is warmer still. My car does not have an AC system (I bought it when I was a pizza guy and living in western Washington, a combination that made it the ideal car), so I went looking for an AC Compressor at 1airconditioning.com this morning.
Failure! They don't have equipment for a 2001 Hyundai Accent, the car I drive (maybe you will have better luck than me - look your car up on their site and see if they've got something for you). It looks like I'll have to rely on what I've always done - start the drive early in the morning and stop for lots of cold drinks. Oh well... one of these days I'll get this sorted out. At least I have a TomTom so I won't spend extra time baking in the heat while lost.
