"Cell phones protect memory, at least in mice
Researchers think radio waves may also help reverse Alzheimer's in people
Amid ongoing claims that long-term cell phone radiation may lead to brain tumors comes a new study suggesting the radio waves may protect and even reverse Alzheimer's disease, at least in mice.
And the radiation gave mice without Alzheimer's a boost in brain activity."
I found it entertaining to hear this news because I once had to put up with the rantings of a deranged freak who pretended to be a medical authority. Amongst this loon's standard kit of urban myth rants was all manner of nonsense about cell phones being responsible for all kinds of scary bad stuff with no sense at all of relative harms versus benefits. Typical lunatic all-or-nothing, paranoid thinking that tossed the notion of the dose making the poison out the window, paired with a delusional notion of being some sort of martyred voice crying out in the wilderness, attempting to save everyone from the imaginary threat... for a fee (of course).
And now there's this possibility, that cell phones may actually ward off Alzheimer's and boost brain activity. Imagine that.
